Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about how the Utah Rankings work.
For home buyers & sellers
How should I use the rankings?
Use them as a starting point. Read each agent's profile, then talk to them directly. A good agent should be happy to explain how they'd handle your situation.
Are agents ranked by city?
No. Utah is ranked as one statewide market, so every ranked agent appears on a single list.
How do I contact a ranked agent?
Each agent's profile links to their own website, where you can contact them directly.
Can I check an agent's license myself?
Yes. The Utah Division of Real Estate offers a public license lookup.
For agents
Who is eligible?
Any agent with an active Utah license in good standing who has closed residential transactions in Utah during the research period. See the methodology for details.
Can I nominate myself?
Yes. Self-nominations go through exactly the same research as any other nomination. Submit a nomination.
Can I pay to be ranked?
No. Rankings can't be purchased, and no payment changes an agent's position.
How often are rankings updated?
Once a year. Each edition is researched from scratch, so recognition from a previous year doesn't carry over automatically.
Will I see my clients' feedback?
No. Reference responses are confidential and never shared with the agent or published.
How can I display my award?
Follow the award guidelines. Always include the edition year.
